Dwarf individual who are living in various parts of the State are being given allowance @ Rs. 1600 per month per beneficiary. A male person of height 3 feet 8 inches or less height and a female of height 3 feet 3 inches or less (equivalent to 60% handicapped) is entitled to monthly pension. The scheme is implemented w.e.f. 1.6.2006 and initially the allowance was given Rs. 300/- P.M. The rate of allowance is Rs. 1400/- per month per beneficiary w.e.f. 01-01-2016, Rs.1600/- w.e.f. 01-11-2016, Rs. 1800/- w.e.f. 01-11-2017, Rs. 2000/- w.e.f. 01-11-2018, Rs. 2250/- w.e.f. 01.01.2020, Rs. 2500/- w.e.f. 01.04.2021, Rs. 2750/- w.e.f. 01.04.2023 and Rs. 3000/- w.e.f. 01.01.2024.
- Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a Domicile of Haryana State and should have been residing in Haryana State for the last one year at the time of submission of application.
- The age of the applicant shall not be less than 18 years.
- The applicant must submit a certificate from the Civil Surgeon in support of his/her being a Dwarf.
