DR. SHYAMA PRASAD MUKHERJEE DURGHATNA SAHAYATA YOJANA
“Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Durghtana Shyama Yojana was launched w.e.f. from 01.04.2017. The scope of coverage under the new scheme will be limited to those Haryana domiciles and residents of Haryana who are/were not able to avail the benefit under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana whether due to non enrolment or otherwise . The benefit admissible under the “Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Durghtana Sahayta Yojana” will be Rs. 1.00 lakh.”
Any person in the age group of 18 to 70 years domiciled and resident of Haryana is eligible under the Scheme, provided the person was not enrolled at the time of accident under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
Benefit under scheme:-
- Accidental Death – 00 Lac
- Total and irrecoverable loss of both eyes or loss of use of both hands or feet or loss of sight of one eye and loss of use of hand or foot due to accident = 1.00 Lac.
