    Government of Haryana (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and safeguard your data when you use Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Mobile app (the “App”).

    By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

    1. Information We Collect

    We collect the following categories of information when you use our App:

    • Identity Information:
      • Aadhaar Number
      • Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID)
      • Electricity Connection No
      • Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam ID
      • Vehicle Registration No
    • Contact Information:
      • Mobile number
      • Email address (if provided)
    • Device & Usage Data:
      • IP address, device identifiers, operating system, App usage statistics.
    1. Purpose of Collection

    Your personal information is collected only for legitimate and specific purposes, including:

    • To verify your identity for Enrollment of the Beneficiary and delivery of government benefits under the Scheme
    • To communicate updates, alerts, or notifications related to the service.
    • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

    We do not use your Aadhaar or PPP details for marketing or profiling.

    1. Lawful Basis & Consent

    We collect and process your information:

    • With your explicit consent at the time of registration or data entry; and
    • As required to provide the services you request.

    You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 11). Withdrawal of consent may limit access to certain features.

    1. Data Sharing & Disclosure

    We will never sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only:

    • With authorised government departments or agencies where legally required;
    • With service providers strictly for processing data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements;
    • When required by law, court order, or regulatory authorities.
    1. Data Retention

    Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above or as required by applicable law. Once the purpose is fulfilled, Aadhaar and PPP numbers will be securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

    1. Security Measures

    We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including:

    • End-to-end encryption of sensitive identifiers (Aadhaar/PPP).
    • Secure servers located in India.
    • Restricted staff access based on need-to-know principle.

    However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

    1. How Your Data is Secured

    We take the protection of your personal data seriously. To ensure its confidentiality, integrity, and availability, we use:

    Sensitive information such as Aadhaar and PPP numbers are encrypted both during transmission and at rest.

    Data is stored on secure servers located in India with firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.

    Only authorised personnel have access to your data, following a strict need-to-know principle.

    Security systems are periodically reviewed and tested to detect vulnerabilities.

    Data protection measures are aligned with applicable laws, government IT policies, and best practices.

        9. Your Rights

    Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

    • Access, correct, update, or delete your personal data;
    • Withdraw consent for processing;
    • Lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority.
    1. Children’s Privacy

    Our App is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental/guardian consent.

    The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies separately.
